Appleton City Pavilion – 1914
The City Park Pavilion was built in 1914. The park was a popular meeting place used for ban concerts, Memorial Day services, political speeches and Union church services on Sunday Evenings. The Sulpho-Lithia well was located in the park and its water was drunk for medicinal purposes. The limestone rocks were quarried on the Ola Williams Kavanaugh family farm north of AppletonCity.
